TLDR

  • Higgsfield extended its Series B with new investment from TCV and NVIDIA; the amounts were not disclosed.12
  • The August Series B raised $400M at $5.4B, led by DST Global; the extension sources give no new valuation.12
  • Higgsfield says it passed $1B in annualised revenue in September; that figure is a company claim.12

Higgsfield, a San Francisco company that sells an AI video and image creation platform to brands, agencies, studios and creators, announced on 23 October 2026 an extension of its Series B financing with new investment from TCV and NVIDIA.1 Variety reports that the company declined to disclose the amounts, and neither the release nor the other sources reviewed give a valuation for the extension.12 The extension builds on the Series B led by DST Global in August, which Variety reports raised $400 million at a $5.4 billion valuation.12 The release gives no lead for the extension, and nor do the other sources.

The company's own figures, repeated without independent checks, are 40 million users in 238 countries and territories, more than $1 billion in annualised revenue reached in September (18 months after launch), enterprise revenue growing more than 100 per cent month over month, and 12 trillion tokens processed across 150 million generations a month.1 The release also says revenue under contract from business customers has grown tenfold since June and cites Ramp spending data that it says shows Higgsfield as the fastest-growing image and video AI vendor; the Ramp claim was not checked.1 Variety adds that Higgsfield was founded in 2023, and that it has drawn attention in film with "Hell Grind", an AI-generated action film shown at the Marché du Film in May.2 The founders are Alex Mashrabov, Yerzat Dulat and Mahi De Silva, and the company keeps roots in Kazakhstan through Astana Hub; the announcement was timed to NVIDIA chief executive Jensen Huang's first visit to the country.12

On investor roles: the sources conflict on who is in the extension. The release says Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Tribe Capital, AI Capital Partners, Smash Capital, GFT Ventures and Valor Capital "also participated", without saying in which round.1 Unite.AI places those six in the extension, while Variety lists them as investors in the August round.23 Unite.AI, whose byline is an AI research agent, also lists further August participants including Fifth Wall, Intel Capital, Accel and Menlo Ventures; this is its account of the earlier announcement and was not checked against that release.3 Variety reports the NVIDIA stake is its first in Higgsfield, and notes NVIDIA has twice backed another AI video company, Runway.2 Higgsfield says it has scaled on NVIDIA hardware from L40 and A40 GPUs through the Hopper and Blackwell generations.3

The second sources add different angles. Variety adds the undisclosed amounts, the first-investment detail and the film projects, and quotes the same executive statements as the release.2 Unite.AI mostly restates the release, adds that proceeds will go to product development, global infrastructure, hiring and go-to-market expansion, and reports that the August announcement cited $700 million in annualised revenue and a $1.3 billion valuation after the Series A and its extension.3 No independent source for the revenue, user or enterprise figures was found.

On the lead investor: TCV's Jay Hoag said the firm has backed Netflix, Spotify, Facebook, ByteDance and Electronic Arts.1 TCV's all-companies page, listed as of 15 July 2026, shows in the portion read Facebook, ByteDance and Electronic Arts alongside AI names such as Anthropic, Fireworks.ai and Arize AI; it does not give investment dates or stages.4 DST Global, which led the August round, has no portfolio page in the sources reviewed.

Why it matters: two fresh backers, one of them the compute supplier, joined a generative-video company within ten weeks of its $5.4B round, though the amounts and any new valuation are undisclosed and the revenue and user figures are the company's own.
